Our images are fresh and exciting: Many couples today are looking for a photographer who can capture their wedding in a style that is fresh, exciting, and reflective of their personalities. My wedding photos tell the story of the day, while also capturing details that are not  seen by the bride and groom in the hustle and bustle of their special day.

We are not the old and dull school: My style of photography is not easy to categorize. But I can tell you what I am not. I am not a traditional wedding photographer who shoots technically competent but often static, dull, and very posed photographs. I am not a photojournalist who can capture candid moments, but does not have the technical background to, for instance, take beautiful portraiture. I am not a control freak, and I never ask the bride and groom to tacky or corny shots.

Our images are always the highest quality: Image quality- We use only the latest and highest-resolution digital cameras available. Image Style- Our photography blends two fields; the technical abilities of the traditional photographer with the dynamic vision of the photojournalist. I learned the craft at Brooks Institute of Photography, then received a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in photography from California Institute of the Arts. I have worked as a commercial and fine art photographer for more than twenty years. I am currently in my ninth year of teaching photography and design at California Lutheran University.

We have the experience: We have been photographing Ventura County weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and portraits for twenty years. This experience gives us a huge advantage when photographing fast moving events. We are able to make quick decisions, control situations, keep everyone on schedule and resolve the occasional crisis when it occurs.

I let you keep your images: Most photographers hold your images hostage and the only way to get prints is through them.  Every couple gets a DVD of their images that they get to keep for eternity.
